Sudden Influx Of Mastiff Rescues

Postby Emma on Tue Jun 10, 2008 6:46 am

All, I am so disappointed at the moment with the sudden influx of Mastiffs who are urgently requiring foster homes. If anyone is able too help with this please contact myself or Kim. I have had calls regarding 5 Mastiffs over the weekend alone. Thankfully I think one of them I have a home for already. However, I am picking up an 18 month old tomorrow. Plus I have a 15 month old currently in a foster home in shropshire that need's moving into another foster home or a home found asap. Her main issue is dominance over the other dogs. Thankfully we have one breeder who is willingly going to take the 5th one back-a practise I wish more of our breeders would stick too.
Rescue cannot physically be run by one or two people alone. Especially when you have your own dogs and working full time as well and have other commitments. We have a few people who are willing too help and I am extremely thankful for. However, we need more foster homes URGENTLY. So if you feel you can and are willing too help us please contact us a.s.a.p. The bitch that has been posted by cane corso rescue needs a foster home. I do not have any space for her with me and my other homes are full or have dog's already on stand by too fill them. She is based in Luton, if you can help please let me know asap.

Thanks Emma

Emmas post has been bumped it is dated 2008
Debbie and Steve do Mastiff Rescue and contact is best made to them, they have a stand in whilst having a well deserved holiday.
So am pretty sure that this list of rescues is 'old news'
Urgent rescues are put on the website
