Benson now Boris

Postby Garypw on Sun Jan 17, 2010 5:27 pm

We were very pleased to meet Benson today, he was an angel in the car home and greeted everyone at home with a cuddle. Bo has put him in his place a couple of times but nothing nasty. i'm sure he'll be happy here and we're very happy with him. many thanks to Debbie & Steve.

Benson is a good boy, Bo has put him in his place a few times and he instantly backed off so as normal the female is in charge, took him to the park earlier, he does come back when he is called (after he has cocked his leg up every tree) so we carried on walking and when he saw we were a little distance away (but not out of sight) he came running. he really enjoys his food, i'll be taking him to the vets in the next few days, just to register him. we are very please how quickly he has settled in.

We are considering changing Bensons name to Boris, we think he looks like a Boris, it's a big boys name.

Benson is now Boris, he has been with us for 2 weeks now and is totally settled and happy, Pecking order was sorted quickly between Bo & Boris with Bo being in charge. He is so loving and a big softy, tomorrow he's being castrated and we hope his personality doesn't change to much. Not being the the brightest star in the sky we've nick named him Boris Gump. lol

Boris is well settled and we can't remember what it was like before he moved in, He loves the sprinkler and hose pipe and will spend ages trying to catch raindrops when it rains (nutter). We took him down the river recently and he would not go in even though it was only inches deep even Bo was barking at him as if to call him a whimp, so i put his lead on and dragged him in and within minutes he was loving it. Bo & Boris love a good play fight and have a cuddle on there bed at bed time. thanks to all at OEMC for letting us have 2 really great loving dogs.

Well they certainly look as if they are enjoying cooling off. lways good to hear how rescues are doing.
We use to live by a stream and most of the dogs loved the water, except one who would sit mournfully on the bank, then some ducks arrived!! Now we have our own dykes securely fenced one side ducks and hens the other dogs, they live well together.
